Kerzner International Holdings has made two new executive appointments. Ali Tabbal, who has served as chief financial officer for Kerzner International for the past three years, has been named chief operating officer and Saif Al Yaarubi has been appointed as chief financial officer, both effective August 1st 2015.

Kerzner International has entered into an agreement with BK Partners, a private equity fund focused on tourism and land development, to develop and operate two new One&Only resorts on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. These new resorts will complement the experience offered at the award-winning One&Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, Mexico.

Hotel magnate Solomon ‘Sol’ Kerzner has announced his retirement as the chairman of Kerzner International Holdings. The move brings to a close one of the most dazzling careers in hospitality industry, with Kerzner top of the sector for decades. The news came after Investment Corporation of Dubai confirmed it had completed the purchase of a “significant” equity interest in the leading international Kerzner International.

Fosun International the leading non-state owned enterprise in China has entered into an agreement with Kerzner International for a new, cutting-edge Atlantis resort along the Haitang Bay National Coast. This will be the first Atlantis resort in China and only the third Atlantis worldwide. 

Kerzner International has announced two new executive appointments, with Mark DeCocinis taking on the new role as president and chief operating officer for One&Only Resorts effective from August 1st. At the same time, it has been confirmed Stephan Killinger will become president of Mazagan Beach & Golf Resort at the start of July.

Helen McCabe-Young is returning to Kerzner International as Executive Vice-President, Sales & Marketing, One&Only Resorts. In this role, McCabe-Young is responsible for the strategic development and oversight of Kerzner’s global Corporate Communications as well as worldwide sales and marketing for One&Only.
