Kerzner International has announced the appointment of Jean-Gabriel Pérès as its new president and chief executive officer. As the outgoing chief executive of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Pérès has overseen the daily operations of the 16,000-staff hotel management company for 17 years. His role was instrumental in driving the global expansion of the company into Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.

Kerzner begins search for new chief as Leibman steps down
Kerzner International Holdings has announced that Alan Leibman will step down as chief executive, a position he has held since 2012. Mohammed Al Shaibani, executive director of Investment Corporation of Dubai, and chairman of Kerzner International Holdings said: “On behalf of the Board and all my colleagues, I would like to express my thanks to Alan for his commitment and hard work, and our appreciation of his dynamic leadership and untiring management while at the helm at Kerzner.”
Zuber takes up leadership role at One&One Resorts
Kerzner International has appointed Philippe Zuber as president and chief operating officer for One&Only Resorts. In this role, Zuber will lead the strategic development of the One&Only brand, including continued operational success of all existing One&Only resorts. The appointment is strategically important as the company continues further enhancements across existing resorts in the collection and also moves forward with expansion plans for One&Only worldwide.
Kerzner International signs Hakkasan partnership
Kerzner International and Sevens Holding have announced a partnership with global hospitality leader, Hakkasan Group, to open a Hakkasan restaurant at the new One&Only resort opening in Seef, Bahrain. “We are very pleased to be welcoming Hakkasan to One&Only Bahrain and know our guests will truly appreciate being able to enjoy this world-class experience,” commented Mark DeCocinis, president, One&Only Resorts.
Key leadership appointments for Kerzner International
Kerzner International Holdings has made two new executive appointments. Ali Tabbal, who has served as chief financial officer for Kerzner International for the past three years, has been named chief operating officer and Saif Al Yaarubi has been appointed as chief financial officer, both effective August 1st 2015.
