India’s ministry of tourism has announced that foreign tourists visiting India on the e-Tourist Visa will now be entitled to stay in the country for up to two months and enjoy double-entry benefits.

Etihad Airways adds third flight to Bengaluru, India
Etihad Airways is launching a third daily flight on the Abu Dhabi – Bengaluru route, effective from March 26th this year. The triple daily schedule will provide greater choice to local passengers travelling between the two cities, and improved connectivity to destinations across the GCC, North America and Europe via the airline’s Abu Dhabi hub.

Oman Air boosts India connections following bipartite deal
Oman Air is growing its capacity to India, where it will increase its weekly frequencies from 126 to 161 flights per week. The carrier currently flies between Oman and 11 destinations in India.

India Tourism welcomes Gangadhar to London
India’s ministry of tourism has welcomed the appointment of C Gangadhar as assistant director at the India Tourism Office in London. Assistant director Gangadhar will accede to the role previously filled by R Sunani, who had established a strong working relationship with the UK and Ireland travel and tourism trade.

Garuda Indonesia to connect Indonesia to India for first time

Korean Air has celebrated its inaugural Delhi-Incheon direct flight with a welcome ceremony at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi Airport. Korean Air’s maiden flight from Incheon to Delhi, KE481, touched down at Indira Gandhi Airport and was welcomed with a water canon event prepared by the airport.

New airlift connects Maldives to New Delhi, India
Travelling to Maldives from Delhi has become even easier. Mega Maldives Airlines has announced its non-stop flights to Male from New Delhi which will start from November 15th, 2016. The brand new Boeing 737 Aircraft, has two seating configuration of 150 Economy and 12 Business class seats.
