AHIF 2016: Hilton to bring first modular hotel to Africa
Hilton Worldwide has marked this year’s African Hotel Investment Forum with the announcement of new properties and extensions in three African countries. It continues the company’s commitment to expansion across the continent as it seeks to double its footprint from its existing 39 hotels to more than 80 hotels in the next three to five years.
Hilton Jinan South Hotel & Residences opens in China
Hilton is opening the Hilton Jinan South Hotel & Residences, marking the debut of its full-service residences concept in China. Owned by Luneng Group Shandong Luneng Genfu Development and managed by Hilton, Hilton Jinan South Hotel & Residences is also the first international hotel in Jinan South and Hilton’s 37th hotel in China.

Hilton to add first Curio hotel in Italy
Hilton has signed a deal to bring its Curio brand to Tuscany, Italy. The 101-guestroom La Bagnaia Golf & Spa Resort Siena is set to welcome guests from March 2017.
