Spain’s largest hotel group, NH, has joined the Global Hotel Alliance. Following the press conference in the stunningly beautiful Casino de Madrid Phil Blizzard talks to Chris Hartley, CEO, GHA about the alliance with NH hotels.

Global Hotel Alliance is the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands, bringing together 33 brands with over 550 hotels in 77 countries.

Global Hotel Alliance has announced Viceroy as its latest member brand, expanding the alliance’s presence in North America, the Caribbean, Indian Ocean and the Middle East. The deal will add some of the hospitality brand’s most luxurious properties to the Ultratravel Collection, in addition to Viceroy’s Urban Retreat properties in San Francisco and New York City also joining.

During its bi-annual CEO Committee meeting in Bangkok, Global Hotel Alliance (GHA) announced the addition of Mirvac Hotels & Resorts as its newest member brand, thereby extending the alliance’s reach to Australia and New Zealand.
