Eurostar has reported a strong performance in the first quarter of 2018 with record quarter one passenger volumes. Sales revenues grew by nine per cent year-on-year, up to £253 million in 2018 from £232 million last year, while passenger numbers increased by four per cent to 2.36 million. 

Eurostar has cancelled a number of trains to and from Paris, Lille and Brussels today as French railway workers begin three months of rolling strikes. Cancellations are also expected tomorrow.
