Eurostar extends summer booking horizon to five months
Eurostar has announced it is extending its booking horizon by an extra four weeks this summer to cater for heightened demand. Holidaymakers across the country can now book tickets from London St Pancras, Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International to Paris, Brussels and Lille for travel until the August 15th rather than July 15th, which is the typical Eurostar four month booking horizon.

Eurostar, the high speed rail service between the UK and mainland Europe, has reported solid progress over the past year delivering continued growth in both passenger numbers and overall sales revenues.
Eurostar fleet upgrade in progress
Eurostar has reported a 2% growth in passenger numbers in 2011 to 9.7 million and increased sales revenues which were up 6% to £803 million. On the back of this strong performance, the high speed rail service has revealed plans for a £700m fleet investment programme including the delivery of 10 new e320 trains and a complete redesign of existing trains to include Wi-Fi and entertainment.
