DFDS shares success with staff as ferry operator reaches 150th anniversary milestone
Ferry Operator DFDS has today announced that it will give every one of its more than 7,000 employees shares in DFDS as a 150th anniversary gift. All staff who were employed by the company as of December 1st, and who work at least 24 hours a week, will receive 30 shares valued at around DKK 10,000 (€1,300 as of today).

A 63 per cent increase in freight volumes on the Dover-Dunkirk and Dover-Calais routes in the second quarter of 2016 has helped DFDS register a positive financial performance for the first half of the year. The growth, which has been achieved following the introduction of two new ships on the Dover-Calais service, is the strongest recorded in the company’s history.
DFDS Seaways breaks records on Channel crossing
DFDS recorded a record month for freight on its Dover to France routes in March, carrying more than 110,000 vehicles for the first time. The company reached the milestone following the introduction of two new ships, the Cotes des Dunes and the Cotes des Flandres, on its Dover-Calais service to provide 15 daily departures each way on the route.
DFDS enjoys record breaking passenger numbers in 2015
Award-winning ferry operator DFDS enjoyed a record year on its Newcastle to Amsterdam service in 2015, carrying more than 580,000 passengers. The result was boosted by the company’s strongest ever May to September performance, during which the two ships on the route carried more than a quarter of a million people.
DFDS Seaways welcomes latest vessel to Dover-Calais route
Award-winning ferry operator DFDS has welcomed its second new ferry, Côte des Flandres, on its Dover-Calais service. The ship sailed into Dover last night at 20:15 after its inaugural voyage from Calais. The passenger and freight ferry has been transformed in her brand new DFDS livery, mirroring sister ship, Côte des Dunes, which came into service on February 9th.
