On 9 September, Phnom Penh celebrated a historic milestone with the inauguration of Techo International Airport, the nation’s largest aviation infrastructure project. Cambodian funded and built, with a design inspired by the nation’s cultural and Angkorian heritage, the airport begins operations as a modernised hub for business and tourism. The launch was marked by the arrival of the first commercial flight operated by Air Cambodia, welcomed with a traditional water salute.

TUI Group continuous to expand in key Asian markets and announces its second hotel in Cambodia: TUI Blue Angkor Grace. The opening follows the launch of TUI Blue Sihanoukville in May 2025. Dara Sakor International Airport, which is operated by Coastal Airport Investment Co. Ltd (CAI), began trial operations on the morning of December 26, with the arrival of a chartered flight from Phnom Penh International Airport carrying more than 50 passengers. Located in Kiri Sakor and Botum Sakor districts of Koh Kong Province, Dara the airport is being developed by CAI, with an investment of $200 million. Now in the first phase, a 218 hectare area has been developed. In the next phase, an additional 1,000 hectares will be developed.
