Boeing will focus on advancing innovation, partnerships and collaboration at the 2025 Paris Air Show. “We continue to make fundamental changes across Boeing to strengthen safety, quality and our culture, and we are seeing steady improvement in our performance,” said Boeing President and CEO Kelly Ortberg. “We look forward to connecting with our customers and partners at Le Bourget to demonstrate the work underway to restore trust and move Boeing forward.” Boeing will exhibit various commercial and defense capabilities, autonomous technologies and comprehensive services. The static displays will feature customer commercial jets and defense fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft.
Etihad Airways Continues Fleet Expansion with Boeing Agreement
Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, is further expanding its fleet, confirming an order for 28 wide-body Boeing aircraft. Since 2023, the airline has steadily grown its fleet as part of a long-term strategy to double in size by 2030. American Airlines is ready for a “Suite Summer” as new premium Flagship Suite seats go on sale
Summer travel just got sweeter with the much-anticipated debut of American’s premium Flagship Suite® seats aboard the airline’s newest Boeing 787-9 aircraft. Starting today, customers can purchase tickets at aa.com and via American’s mobile app for the inaugural flight June 5 from Chicago O’Hare (ORD) to Los Angeles (LAX) for Flight 2012, which will then return to ORD for its inaugural Flagship Suite® service to London Heathrow (LHR) as Flight 98. Later this summer, American will also operate the new 787-9 from Philadelphia (PHL) to LHR and Zurich (ZRH). Flagship Suite® service will go down under this fall with service from Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) to Brisbane, Australia (BNE).
flydubai and Boeing sign agreement for Space Bins on 737 MAX fleet
At the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX), Dubai-based carrier flydubai and Boeing announced an agreement to retrofit 21 of flydubai’s 737 MAX aircraft with larger Boeing Space Bins. Each Space Bin can accommodate up to six standard-sized bags per bin by turning a bag on its edge, an increase from four bags per bin compared to a standard bin.
Pegasus Airlines Places Historic Aircraft Order
Pegasus Airlines has signed a new order agreement with Boeing for 200 aircraft to further strengthen its fleet in line with its growth targets. The aircraft deliveries from the new order are scheduled to join the Pegasus fleet starting from 2028. This marks the largest order ever placed in the airline’s history.

Lufthansa Technik equips LATAM’s 777 aircraft with AeroSHARK
In December 2023, LATAM had its first Boeing 777-300ER fitted with the bionic surface film in São Paulo, becoming the first airline outside the Lufthansa Group and in the Americas region to adopt this innovative CO₂-saving solution. Since then, the Latin American airline has been testing the sharkskin technology in daily operations. Given the proven results, LATAM has now decided to install the innovative film on four additional aircraft. Five AeroSHARK-modified aircraft operated by the subsidiary LATAM Airlines Brazil will soon be cruising the skies.

Boeing have announced that its Board of Directors has elected Robert K. “Kelly” Ortberg as the company’s new president and chief executive officer, effective August 8, 2024. Ortberg will also serve on Boeing’s Board of Directors.
