Japan Transocean Air places $1.1bn Boeing 737 order
Boeing and Japan Transocean Air have announced the airline’s selection of 12 Next-Generation 737-800 airplanes.The selection, valued at $1.1 billion at list prices, will mark the start of the airline’s fleet renewal program with the new airplanes scheduled to enter into service from 2016.
Comair places $830m order with Boeing
Boeing and Comair have announced an order for eight 737 MAX 8s, valued at $830 million at list prices. It is the first 737 MAX order announcement for an African operator. The order was booked in December 2013 and was previously unidentified on the Boeing Orders & Deliveries website.
Boeing expands 737 Commercial Delivery Center
Boeing has kicked off expansion of its 737 Commercial Delivery Center at Boeing Field in Seattle. The project more than doubles the space that will be available for customers and groups supporting increased 737 deliveries.

Boeing and SpiceJet announced today at India Aviation 2014 an order for 42 737 MAX 8s. The order, previously listed as unidentified on the Boeing Orders & Deliveries website, is valued at $4.4 billion at list prices.
China Southern Airlines takes delivery of first Boeing 777-300ER
Boeing has delivered the first 777-300ER (Extended Range) to China Southern Airlines, Asia’s largest airline in fleet size and number of passengers carried. The new airplane is the first of ten 777-300ERs China Southern has on order with Boeing.
SunExpress places $3.8bn Boeing deal
Boeing and SunExpress have finalised an order for 15 737 MAX 8s and 25 Next-Generation 737-800 airplanes. The order, valued at more than $3.8 billion at list prices, also includes options for ten additional 737 MAX 8s.
Boeing to expand Everett site in Washington State
Boeing has announced the selection of its Everett, Washington, site as the location for a new composite wing centre for the 777X program. Boeing evaluated criteria that were designed to find the wing fabrication location that would best support the 777X business plan.
Nok Airlines signs on for Boeing deal
Boeing and Nok Airlines Public Company have announced a commitment to order eight Next-Generation 737-800s and seven 737 MAX 8s. The commitment, valued at $1.45 billion at list prices, will establish Nok Air as the first airline in Thailand to operate the 737 MAX.
Saudi Arabian Airlines signs partnership with Boeing
Boeing and Saudi Arabian Airlines Holding have signed a broad collaboration agreement allowing the companies to pursue possible partnership opportunities in the areas of defence and commercial aviation that will benefit customers and generate new business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. “We are pleased to sign this collaboration agreement with Boeing to support the transformation process Saudia is going through, and hope both Saudia and Boeing will get the anticipated commercial, economic and social benefits out of such collaboration,” said Khalid Almolhem, director general, Saudi Arabian Airlines.
Linhas Aereas de Mocambique signs new deal with Boeing
Boeing and Linhas Aereas de Mocambique have announced an order for three Next-Generation 737-700 airplanes. The order, valued at $228 million at list prices, includes purchase rights for three additional Next-Generation 737s.

Boeing Business Jets has celebrated the first two BBJ 787-8 deliveries of 2014. The deliveries, made over the past week to separate undisclosed customers, mark the second and third BBJ 787 airplanes delivered to date.
Boeing boosts Next-Generation 737 production rate
Boeing is starting assembly this week of the first Next-Generation 737 to be built at the increased rate of 42 airplanes per month. Since 2010, production of the 737 has increased about 33 per cent, from 31.5 to 42 airplanes a month, its highest rate ever.
