Riyadh welcomes first refurbished Emirates Boeing 777
Riyadh has become Emirates’ first GCC destination to welcome the refurbished Emirates Boeing 777, offering passengers the all-new Business Class cabin and highly acclaimed Premium Economy seats. The newly refurbished aircraft will operate on the EK 819/820 daily service which departs Dubai at 0710hrs, with a scheduled arrival in Riyadh for 0805hrs. The return flight departs from the Kingdom’s capital at 0940hrs and reaches Dubai at 1235hrs.

The first Emirates Boeing 777 with a nose-to-tail cabin refresh sporting a new look has rolled into service, as it prepares to take off to Geneva this afternoon as EK 83. The aircraft took a total of 37 days for a complete revamp and will be entering service four days ahead of its officially announced deployment schedule.

Emirates has today unveiled the first cities on its network to be served with its newest Boeing 777 cabin interiors. The airline plans to introduce its refurbished B777s to Geneva, Tokyo Haneda and Brussels, offering customers more opportunities to experience the airline’s signature Premium Economy on this aircraft, and for the first time Emirates’ next generation Business Class seats, set in a new 1-2-1 configuration.

Emirates adds 5 new Boeing 777-200LR freighters to order book
Emirates has announced a firm order for 5 new Boeing 777-200LR freighter aircraft, with 2 units to be delivered in 2024 and the remaining 3 units in 2025. The agreement, worth over US$ 1.7 billion at list prices, takes the airline’s total order book to 200 wide-body aircraft.
