We told you that our retail ticket network was shrinking, and it has. Paper discount tickets are pretty scarce. But the discount rates for Red, Green and High Value Discount tickets are available on Clipper, the regional transit fare payment system.
BART, Thanksgiving service: longer trains for travelers
BART will operate longer trains to help passengers get to and from San Francisco and Oakland international airports on the day before Thanksgiving — Wednesday, November 23, which is traditionally the busiest travel day of the year. There will also be longer trains on Sunday, November 27 — the day when most of those airport travelers return home.

BART to stop trains for one minute today for Great ShakeOut quake drill
BART will stop all trains on the system for about one minute at 10:21 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, as we participate in the annual statewide earthquake preparedness event called “The Great California ShakeOut.”
