UK travellers one step closer to the jewels of Southeast Asia with BA and Bangkok Airways
British Airways customers now have a wider choice of Southeast Asian holiday destinations, thanks to an increase in flights from London to Bangkok, and an expanded codeshare partnership with Bangkok Airways. The airline announced earlier this year that its direct route from London Gatwick to Bangkok will return on 28 October 2024, operating three times per week to the Thai capital. As of this week, the service will increase to up to five times per week between January and March 2025.

Bangkok Airways has announced plans for an initial public offering on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. Following the filing of submission papers with the he Thai Securities & Exchange Commission, the subscription is expected to open for individual investors around mid-October, while the shares are expected to commence trading in the Stock Exchange of Thailand by the end of October.
JAL expands Bangkok codeshare deal
Japan Airlines and Bangkok Airways have agreed to further expand codeshare flights on PG operated routes between Bangkok and select cities in the south-east Asia region from May 7th, 2014.
