JAL expands Bangkok codeshare deal

Japan Airlines and Bangkok Airways have agreed to further expand codeshare flights on PG operated routes between Bangkok and select cities in the south-east Asia region from May 7th, 2014.

JAL is currently serving the codeshare network from Bangkok to five destinations, the Thai cities of and Phuket, Chiang Mai, Ko Samui, as well as Mumbai and Male.

This time, JAL expands its codeshare network to eight new destinations in south-east Asia, the region of rapid economic growth with rich tourism resources, including Myanmar (Yangon, Nai Pyi Taw, and Mandalay), Cambodia (Phnom Penh and Siem Reap), Lao PDR (Vientiane and Luang Prabang), and Thailand (Chiang Rai).

All codeshare flights have smooth connectivity to and from JL operated Haneda-Bangkok services, of which JAL has doubled its daily flights from March 30th, 2014 providing customers with more convenience for travel in the region.
