A private ballet performance in the Mikhailovsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, sipping wine in a Tuscan castle with three tenors singing in the background or a jazz concert at Villa Rufolo high above the Amalfi Coast – Azamara Club Cruises’ newest addition to each sailing, AzAmazing Evenings, are now outlined in a dedicated brochure.

As part of Azamara Club Cruises’ 2013 European season, beginning 27 March and 15 May, newly refurbished Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest will respectively launch AzAmazing Evenings; exclusive, custom-designed events which will immerse guests in the cultures that intrigue them.

Destination-immersion cruise line Azamara Club Cruises is revamping how it is positioned to agents following feedback from trade partners who want to be able to sell the cruise line as an all-inclusive holiday. The move to all-inclusive follows the addition of select standard spirits, wines and international beers into the main cruise fare, and the inclusion of a new ‘AzAmazing Evening’ destination event on each sailing.

Azamara Club Cruises, the cruise line that has set the bar for delivering destination immersive experiences to up-market travelers, today announced plans for the renovation of its two European boutique hotel-style ships, Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest. Both ships are scheduled separately to enter drydock in 2012 and 2013, respectively, where each will receive a shipwide facelift and a new profile with a new dark-blue hull.

Azamara Quest – the cruise ship stricken at sea for 24-hours following an onboard fire – has docked in Malaysia following repairs. A fire broke out on the vessel on Friday leaving five crew members needing treatment for smoke inhalation.
