easyJet has announced that customers can now use Apple Pay on web for bookings made on easyJet.com. This makes payment a seamless “two touch” process. Jet Airways has unveiled its app designed exclusively for Apple Watch, the first Indian airline to do so. The application will allow guests to conveniently access real time information about the status of any flight on the Jet Airways’ network, receive flight status notifications, get alerts for upcoming trips as well as updates on special deals and offers from Jet Airways.
United has announced the airline will equip its customer service representatives in the company’s US-based hubs with Apple’s iPhone 6 Plus, enabling agents to meet customers’ needs more quickly while having access to additional operational information at their fingertips. United will begin distributing the devices to its more than 6,000 hub-based customer service representatives next year.
The use of the British Airways Apple Watch app has quadrupled in just four months, and in response the airline is introducing new scanners to make them easier, and faster to use. Customers will be able to slide their wrists under the new ‘Scan and Go’ devices to scan their boarding pass, print their own bag tags and speed through the airport.
