GE Aerospace announced yesterday that United Airlines has selected 300 GEnx engines to power their new Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The agreement also includes additional spare engines and brings United Airlines’ 787 fleet to more than 200 GEnx powered aircraft. Jetstar has revealed it carried more than 700,000 customers across the Tasman in 2025 – an increase of nine per cent on the previous year – as it partners with Tourism New Zealand in Australia, on a new campaign. The New Zealand Sale campaign is launching in Australia today with Jetstar offering 20,000 trans-Tasman fares starting from just $164 one-way to further drive inbound travel demand.

With Allegris, Lufthansa introduced a completely redesigned cabin concept for long-haul flights in the summer of 2024. The Allegris cabin has been flying around the world from Munich in the Airbus A350-900 for over a year and a half, and since October 2025, Allegris has also been flying from Frankfurt in brand-new Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
