Ethiopian Graduates Nearly 800 Aviation Professionals
Ethiopian Aviation University, Africa’s largest aviation center of excellence, graduates close to 800 aviation professionals including international trainees from eight African countries and one from Asia. The graduation ceremony took place at the university’s facility. The day had been graced by Ambassadors and Officials from African countries including Ethiopian Airlines Group executives, families and friends of the graduates.

Qatar Airways Announces Partnership Renewal with UEFA
Qatar Airways is gearing up for an exciting summer, expanding its sports sponsorship portfolio with UEFA men’s national team competitions as the Official Airline Partner. The sponsorship, an extension of the previous partnership around UEFA EURO 2020™, will be kicked off with UEFA EURO 2024. The tournament will take place in Germany, from 14 June through 14 July, with the final being held in Berlin.
Avelo Airlines’ First Houston Route Takes Flight
Avelo Airlines took off yesterday for the first time from Houston where the carrier was founded and operates its national Support Center. The airline’s first Houston flight inaugurated a nonstop service between H-Town’s most convenient airport – William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) – and Southern Connecticut’s most convenient airport – Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN). Avelo is the only airline offering nonstop service from the city of Houston to the state of Connecticut.
