Vietnam Airlines and Garuda Indonesia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand the strategic partnership between the two national airlines. QANTAS INTERNATIONAL NETWORK TO GROW WITH 220,000 MORE SEATS, NEW AIRCRAFT AND NEW ROUTE
Qantas is boosting its international network with new aircraft and a new destination, as well as schedule changes which will better utilise its fleet and support growing customer demand in key Asia Pacific and US markets. From February 2025, the national carrier will add around 220,000 seats to its international network over 12 months compared to its current schedule. This is made possible by the launch of its new Brisbane – Palau route, the return of two Airbus A380s following maintenance and cabin modifications, as well as the arrival of more next-generation A220 aircraft for QantasLink.

Finnair strengthens summer network to America and Asia
Finnair is continuing to grow its global presence, adding extra long-haul flights from its Helsinki hub to America and Asia next summer. The news means the airline will boast its largest ever U.S. schedule from Helsinki in 2025, with flights to Asia also at their highest levels since 2019.

Etihad Airways to offer daily flights to Dusseldorf and Copenhagen from October 2025

This expansion represents an addition of four weekly flights, providing passengers with greater flexibility and connectivity.
