airBaltic carries record number of passengers in October
During the first ten months of 2017 the Latvian airline airBaltic transported a total of 3,007,034 passengers to its network spanning Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, CIS and the Middle East. In October 2017, the airline carried 319,018 passengers or 26 per cent more than in the same period of 2016.
airBaltic launches new flights to Sochi and Kaliningrad
The Latvian airline airBaltic will launch two new routes from Riga next spring. Flights to Russian sports capital Sochi will take off on May 14th next year, following by departures for Kaliningrad on April 16th.

The Latvian airline airBaltic, in cooperation with the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, Etihad Airways, has launched a direct service between Riga and Abu Dhabi.
airBatlic to offer flights to Liepaja throughout winter season

airBaltic carried 393,312 passengers in July, or 21 per cent more than in the same period of 2016. For the second month in a row it has been the biggest number of transported passengers in the airline’s history.

airBaltic has revealed its first destinations for the summer season of 2018, with Malaga (Spain), Lisbon (Portugal), Split (Croatia), Bordeaux (France) and Gdansk (Poland) added to the route map.

airBaltic has welcomed its seventh Bombardier CS300 to Riga. The plane is one of a total order of 20 aircraft place by the carrier, with the Latvian airline expected to operate eight CS300s by the end of the year.

airBaltic welcomes latest Bombardier CS300 jet to fleet
airBaltic has welcomed the fifth of its 20 Bombardier CS300 jets to the fleet, with the carrier planning to have eight CS300 aircraft by the end of the year. The plane, registered as YL-CSE, arrived in Riga earlier after a seven hour and 56 minute trip from Canada.
