Jumeirah at Etihad Towers opened its doors to the world on November 1, 2011, with its very first guest checking into the property. The luxury hotel located on the Arabian Gulf in the Ras Al Akhdar area of Abu Dhabi, which is close to the central business district and ministry compounds, is the first Jumeirah property to open in the UAE’s capital.
Rocco Forte Hotel Abu Dhabi, the first hotel in the Middle East from the European luxury hotel brand is now open for bookings. The wave-shaped glass building will open its doors on November 7th 2011.
The National Investor has confirmed it will invest US$50 million into the Mafraq Hotel in Abu Dhabi, expanding the property from 121 to 250 rooms. TNI also said the hotel will be rebranded and managed in house, a first for the group.
