Located adjacent to the Ibn Battuta Mall, the 411 room five-star property which is owned by Seven Tides International and operated by Minor Hotels, now sources its own produce locally at the Khawaneej Farm in Dubai. The initiative enhances the quality, freshness, and sustainability of the hotel’s food offering through a direct farm-to-table approach.

SH Minerva, the first of three ships in Swan Hellenic's fleet, has earned the DCA ESG Certification from Dream&Charme, an internationally accredited certification body specialising in hospitality. Dream&Charme is accredited against ISO/IEC 17065 by ACCREDIA under the supervision of the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.
Jumeirah Marks World Sea Turtle Day
Jumeirah, a global leader in luxury hospitality and a member of Dubai Holding, marked World Sea Turtle Day with the release of 23 rehabilitated sea turtles into the Arabian Gulf. Among them was Foxy, a green turtle fitted with a satellite tracker through the Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Project (DTRP), allowing her journey to be monitored following release. With her release, the programme has now returned more than 100 satellite-tracked turtles to the wild. Foxy was rescued by a fisherman off the coast of Ras Al Khaimah in January 2025 after losing a front flipper. By chance, DTRP Ambassador Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi was in Ras Al Khaimah at the time and drove the turtle back to Dubai for treatment and rehabilitation. Following more than a year of specialist care, Foxy has made a remarkable recovery, demonstrating strong swimming ability despite her injury.

The All England Lawn Tennis Club has today published its Championing Nature One Year Report, revealing the significant impact of the programme since its launch in May 2025 and marking the programme’s first anniversary with a special celebration event at Wimbledon. The report highlights that 28,539 people have taken part in 865 sessions and activities delivered through the programme over the past year, with 73% of participants coming from underserved communities. The impact of participation has been substantial, with 93% of those engaged saying they felt inspired to take action for nature, and 91% reporting increased confidence that their individual actions can make a difference.
