Wyndham expands Indian offering
Wyndham Hotel Group has confirmed it will open a further seven properties in India, with six falling under its Ramada brand.
A single Days Inn property will also be added.
Aerens Goldsouk International, headquartered in Gurgaon, has signed agreements for four of the Ramada properties in Chennai, Kochi, Hisar and Ludhiana, while the Madhuban Group in Dehradun and Mussoorie signed agreements for the other two Ramada properties.
The Days Inn brand, which was introduced into the market just last month with the announcements of three new construction, full service Days Hotels, just signed an agreement with Mosaic Infraventures Private for a fourth Days Hotel in Raipur.
“When we started out in India we knew there was a lot of potential for growth here and today’s announcement is testament to this,” said Ken Greene, Wyndham Hotel Group president and managing director, Asia Pacific.
“Seven signings in one day is a huge event for us and strengthens our market and global presence.”
