World Sports Destination Expo set for Bangkok
World Sport Destination Expo (WSDE) has confirmed its second annual global exhibition and business forum will take place in Bangkok.
Scheduled for September 29th – October 2nd 2011, the event is the only global exhibition and business forum dedicated to showcasing the full spectrum of Sport Tourism related products and services.
Bangkok, the capital city and business hub of the magnificent Kingdom of Thailand, will follow in the footsteps of South Africa’s Johannesburg which hosted the inaugural event earlier this year.
The landmark exhibition and conference programme will give centre ground to the most rapidly growing sector in the global travel and tourism industry.

Sports Tourism
WSDE Research has revealed that the travel industry’s fastest growing sector will post record profits and contribute an astonishing 14 per cent of overall travel and tourism receipts by the end of 2010.
At a time when some traditional tourism trends are in decline, Sport Tourism continues to flourish and is set to grow exponentially in the next decade.
Yet the complex mechanics of Sport Tourism has not yet been fully understood or realised.
WSDE will not only present a unique opportunity to source new contacts and markets for the sector, but also to gain invaluable insights from the advanced knowledge of market leaders.
