White Lodging appoints Giorgi Di Lemis to lead  food and beverage division

White Lodging Services is pleased to announce Giorgi Di Lemis will lead White Lodging’s food and beverage team as the vice president of food and beverage.  “As we continue to significantly grow our food and beverage revenues and opportunities, we are privileged to have Giorgi join our team,” said Dave Sibley, president and CEO of White Lodging’s Hospitality Management division. “He has a proven track record of success and a passion for food.”

Di Lemis has more than 35 years of hospitality food and beverage experience in hotels around the world. He has lead food and beverage divisions for Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts and Gaylord Hotels. Prior to joining White Lodging, he was the corporate vice president of food and beverage for Benchmark Hospitality.

Throughout his career, Di Lemis has developed cutting edge restaurant designs, concepts and menus as well as training programs and promotional initiatives for restaurants and catering departments.

In his new position, Di Lemis is looking forward to assisting the properties in achieving their financial and creative goals while helping each property’s food and beverage leaders and chefs work toward their next level of responsibility.

Di Lemis grew up in Venice, Italy and is a graduate of the Accademia di Venezia, Ca’ Foscari of Venice, Italy. He is a certified hotel executive through AHM&A and is fluent in English, Italian, Greek and Turkish with a working knowledge of Spanish and French. Giorgi is also a member of the Slow Food, USA movement and has orchestrated and participated in James Beard invitational culinary events.
