Vision Airlines signs up with Sabre

Vision Airlines has signed a deal with Sabre to offers its fares, flights and schedule through its global distribution system.

Based on the south-east United States, Vision flies predominately out of Northwest Florida Regional Airport.

The airline flies to 17 destinations from the property, including: Atlanta, Miami and Orlando Sanford.

David Meers, Vision chief operating officer, said distribution through Sabre is a key part of the growth plan for the airline.

”We know we have a great value and flight experience, and are excited for Sabre agents to book and share it with their customers,” Meers said.

New Routes

Vision Airlines confirmed recently it would offer flights to Las Vegas as part of the next phase of its growth strategy.

The airline also announced plans to add fourth other destinations starting the week of June 1st; Fort Lauderdale, St. Louis, Memphis, and Lafayette.

“We see it as a good opportunity for growth,” said Clay Meek, marketing and business development director for Vision Airlines.

“It’s increasing our exposure. It gives certainly the people of Northwest Florida many more options.

“It’s an opportunity to create a lot more reverse traffic.”
