Vietnam Airlines signs duty-free deal with King Power Traveller

Vietnam Airlines will officially establish its inflight duty-free service from October 2018, in cooperation with Hong Kong-based inflight specialist King Power Traveller.

Vietnam Airlines has been recognised as the World’s Leading Cultural Airline by World Travel Awards, while King Power is considered Asia’s Leading Airport Duty Free Operator.

Over the coming five years, Vietnam Airlines will continue to cooperate with King Power Traveller to expand and upgrade its Lotushop services to meet higher service standards.

Product categories that will be offered include perfume, cosmetics, watches, suitcases and bags.

Passengers will be able to shop conveniently right from their seats on 30 of Vietnam Airlines’ international routes including to the UK, China, France, Germany, Japan, Korea and Russia, and benefit from average discounts of five-to-15 per cent compared to retail prices.

King Power Traveller will also provide extensive training to flight attendants to enhance their sales skills and application of technology as well as their understanding of procedures at immigration.
