Vietjet launches new Hai Phong-Seoul route

Vietjet has welcomed passengers on its debut flight between Hai Phong, Vietnam, and Seoul, South Korea.

The route will operate every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and depart from Cat Bi International Airport, Hai Phong, at 23:45 and land at Incheon International Airport, Seoul at 06.00.

The return flight will take off at 07:15 and arrive back at Hai Phong City at 10:40.

The flight time per sector is approximately five hours.

The route was launched to meet an increasing travel demand between the two destinations.

As the centre for economic and social growth in Northeast Vietnam, Hai Phong City is fast developing as a key tourist destination and to date Vietjet has operated 10,000 flights, carrying nearly two million passengers on its nine routes out of Hai Phong.

Vietjet is the first airline in Vietnam to operate as a new-age airline with low-cost and diversified services to meet customers’ needs.

Currently the airline boasts a fleet of 40 aircraft, including Airbus A320s and A321s, operating 350 flights per day over 53 routes.
