Vierchowod takes up operations role at The Wellesley Knightsbridge

The Wellesley Knightsbridge, a Luxury Collection Hotel, has appointed Chiara Vierchowod to the role of operations manager.

Overlooking Hyde Park, The Wellesley Knightsbridge is London’s finest boutique-grand hotel; combining sophisticated luxury with captivating grandeur and uncompromising service.

In April 2017 the hotel joined The Luxury Collection, one of Marriott International’s eight contemporary luxury brands.

Vierchowod joins The Wellesley Knightsbridge following managerial roles at The Kensington; Millennium & Copthorne Hotels at Chelsea Football Club; The Hoxton; and The Bentley London.

She was born in Como, Italy, and studied pharmacy before falling in love with the hospitality industry.

She travelled in Greece, Spain and the Caribbean, and then moved to London in 2009 to pursue a career in hotel management and operations.

Vierchowod speaks five languages, including French, German and Spanish.

Speaking on her new appointment, Vierchowod commented: “I am delighted to join the team at The Wellesley Knightsbridge, particularly at such an exciting time for the hotel.

“Becoming part of The Luxury Collection is a pivotal moment in the hotel’s history and we are excited to see what the partnership has in store.

“The Wellesley Knightsbridge has gone from strength to strength since its opening in 2012, and I’m looking forward to working with the team to help drive its success even further with an unrivalled level of customer service.”
