UNIGLOBE expands Global Partner network

International travel management organization, UNIGLOBE, has further expanded its Global Partner network with the signing of four prominent travel management companies (TMCs) in Brazil, Spain, Lebanon, and South Korea.

UNIGLOBE BB Turismo, headquartered in Brasilia, is among the largest travel agencies in Brazil and a subsidiary of Banco do Brazil – one of Latin America’s strongest financial institutions and the oldest in the country. UNIGLOBE BB Turismo has five branches located in Brasília, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo. As well, with eight VIP lounges in major airports across the country, it is the only TMC in Brazil with its own airport lounges. BB Turismo joins a growing network of UNIGLOBE Global Partners in Latin America.

UNIGLOBE VIAP Travel in Barcelona, Spain, is an ISO 9001-2008 certified TMC specializing in MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions), intercontinental trade/commercial missions, business travel, and events organization and has been in operation since 1994. UNIGLOBE VIAPTravel has extensive knowledge of Spanish and international travel markets and offers fully-customized services tailored to client objectives.

UNIGLOBE Kangsan Travel (http://uniglobekangsantravel.co.kr/ ) in Busan and Seoul, South Korea, is a full-service TMC founded in 2000. The company specializes in business and leisure travel services for expatriates in Korea and inbound tours. According to the Korea International Labour Foundation, there are more than 1.3 million foreign nationals currently living in the country.

UNIGLOBE Intertravel Agency (www.intertravel-lb.com/index.php ) has branches in the port town of Jounieh, Lebanon, and the country’s capital city of Beirut. Said UNIGLOBE President Martin Charlwood, “With the increasing globalization of business travel, our Global Partner Program is attracting high-profile, independent TMCs seeking access to international systems and pricing, as well as exposure to inbound business and MICE travel opportunities.”

The UNIGLOBE Global Partner Program is open to top-performing agencies in select international markets. Members get access to UNIGLOBE buying power, systems, technologies, and networking opportunities to collaborate on international accounts not previously accessible to them. In turn, UNIGLOBE TMCs can pass on the savings from locally-negotiated rates for leisure, meeting, and business travel to their clients.
