Turkish Airlines reaffirms TAP deal

Award-winning Turkish Airlines has confirmed a revised codeshare deal with TAP Portugal Airlines has come into force.

Within the context of new agreement, the two airlines will reciprocally put their codes on each other’s flights.

Turkish Airlines passengers will be able to connect on TAP Portugal Airlines’ Faro/Funchal/Porto flights via Lisbon.

Additionally, by means of this agreement there will be more flight alternatives for Turkish Airlines’ passengers to Lisbon via Madrid, Barcelona, Frankfurt, and Munich with connection to TAP Portugal Airlines’ flights.

Turkish Airlines has currently five weekly direct flights to Lisbon.

World Travel Awards

But the codeshare agreement is far from all the two airlines have in common, with both having been recognised for their industry leading standards by the World Travel Awards.

TAP was last year recognised as the World’s Leading Airline to South America, while Turkish Airlines took the title of Europe’s Leading Airline Business Class.
