Turkish Airlines announces its first flight to Suleymaniyah (Iraq)
Flights to Sulaymaniyah are scheduled to depart four times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays (TK806) and the return services are scheduled to depart on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays (TK807). Suleymaniyah is Turkish Airlines’ fifth flight destination in Iraq after Baghdad, Arbil, Basrah and Najaf.
With the addition of Suleymaniyah flights, Turkish Airlines flies to 186 destinations, including 144 international and 42 domestic lines. Roundtrip airfares from Istanbul to Suleymaniyah will be on sale with the prices starting from 305 Euros including taxes and fees for the travels starting before 31st August 2011.
Effective by 20th July 2011, flights to Suleymaniyah will take place as follows;
Istanbul-Suleymaniyah - Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday
Suleymaniyah-Istanbul - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday
