Starwood Hotels & Resorts has appointed Paul Dunphy as Hotel Manager at The Sheraton Park Lane Hotel, London. He will be responsible for the daily operation of the property and report to Colin Bennett, Area Manager England.
Paul’s most recent role was as Hotel Manager at Sheraton Belgravia, and he began his Starwood career in his native Ireland as Food & Beverage Manager at The Westin Dublin. In July 2003 he was promoted to the position of Executive Assistant Manager at the same property before overseeing the opening of Sheraton Fota island Hotel & Spa in 2006. Paul has over 14 years’ hospitality management experience in the UK, Ireland and Dubai.
Paul holds a Masters in Hospitality Management from Hibernia College, Dublin and a Diploma in Hotel Management from Dublin College of Catering.

In addition to his operational role, Paul has spearheaded Starwood Central London Hotels environmental and sustainability initiatives including recycling programmes and Earth Hour projects.
The Park Lane Hotel is an iconic 305-bedroom property located on Piccadilly in the heart of London. The Palm Court is a quintessentially English oasis for Afternoon Tea and the Grade II listed Ballroom - featured in films including Brideshead Revisited and The Poseidon Adventure - is arguably London’s finest example of Art Deco.
In 2009, The Park Lane Hotel’s Food and Beverage Director, Chef Andrew Bennett, was awarded an MBE for his “exceptional services to the hospitality industry”.
