The Regent scoops top WTA award

The Regent has walked away with the World Travel Award for Africa’s Leading Apartment Hotel following a glittering ceremony in South Africa.

The Johannesburg-based property fought off stiff competition from across the continent, with director Cori Terblanche picking up the prize in front of a 1,000 strong industry audience last night.

But what is it that makes this development so special?

The Regent

Set just a ten minute walk away from the vibrant Sandton business district, the peaceful ten story property houses 98 luxurious apartments. A gentle curve to the structure presents many of these with stunning views over the surrounding area.

The philosophy at The Regent is one of tranquillity; peaceful estate living within the Sandton effervescent energy.

Individual apartments are accessed via lifts from the lobby.

The living areas are developed on the North façade of the building and open onto a terrace. Large corner windows open the living spaces up to the surrounding views and gardens - flooding the properties with natural light.

The penthouse apartments comprise three floors; the bedroom level at the bottom, the living areas on the central level and an entertainment terrace on the roof level.

These have double the living space and include a splash pool.
