The Latin Riviera - the trail-blazing destination at ILTM Americas

New resorts, ecotourism projects and historical properties from the Latin Riviera are significant new names on the guest list for this year’s ILTM Americas in Riviera Maya, Mayakoba, Mexico, September 30 – October 3, 2013 www.iltm.net/americas.

Trailblazing properties from Nicaragua, Honduras and Belize are among those who have confirmed their participation in their first ILTM event; to meet with buyers from across the Americas and be part of next year’s travel plans for their high-net worth clients.

Simon Mayle, ILTM Head of Marketing added: “Never before have such incredible new products from the latest hot destination of the Latin Riviera elected to gather in one place to show the world of luxury travel their defining offering. Their very ‘sense of place’ will enthrall those invited to attend ILTM Americas: diverse cultures, captivating indigenous markets, spectacular wildlife, smoking volcanoes, serene lakes, steamy jungles, and idyllic white sand beaches. Standing alongside the many global brands also taking part, ILTM Americas is proving to be un-missable for discerning new luxury travel buyers from the Americas to be able to plan their client’s itineraries for 2014 and beyond.”

These latest properties include Nicaragua’s Mukul Resort & Spa, which opened in February with 37 rooms, all with private pools and terraces, an 18-hole golf course and destination spa offering treatments based around a central theme, from aromatherapy to Turkish bath rituals and traditional treatments using medicinal plants and herbs.

They are joined by Honduras’ Indura Beach and Golf Resort - a five-star boutique hotel and eco-tourism project that highlights the region’s ancestry, its wildlife and many natural attractions, due to open in December. Also taking part is the Ka’ana Boutique Resort and Spa, set in the Maya Mountains in Western Belize – a bespoke new property comprising 17 sensitively-designed, hacienda-style buildings and casitas and located close to Maya sites including the Tikal and Caracol temples.

We look forward to introducing Indura Beach & Golf Resort and meeting the buyers from these key markets that are vital to our business development at ILTM Americas.”

The demand for a vaster choice in elite travel from across the Americas has encouraged a diverse range of exhibitors at ILTM Americas. The event will host international exhibitors and buyers from North, Central and South America in 69 pre-scheduled, one-to-one appointments, as well as a detailed program of social networking activities. Business appointments match mutual requests from buyers and exhibitors alike to meet on a strict one-to-one ratio to build relationships and business communities.
