ILTM Americas – launch edition fully booked

With 3 months to go and a guest list of unbelievable travel products from across the world already confirmed, International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) latest launch ILTM Americas has reached maximum capacity.

Taking place 1 – 3 October 2012 in the luxury resorts that comprise Mayakoba on the Mexican Riviera Maya, the invitation only ILTM Americas will host a now complete list of 130 high-end international travel suppliers to meet a similar number of individually selected, premium travel agents from across North, Central and South America.

The final guest list of exhibitors at this inaugural event include some of the world’s most unique hotels, new discoveries, spa & wellness escapes plus gastronomic, cultural and wilderness experiences to inspire discerning travel agents and their high net worth clients across The Americas.

Attendees include the superior guesthouses of Luxury Lodges of Australia - bringing the Australian luxury outback experience to the ILTM Americas stage; individual properties from across the world also taking part include La Residence in Franschhoek in the Cape Winelands of South Africa; the epitome of grand luxury, The Ritz, London; The Racha in Thailand and Winston Churchill’s favourite hotel La Mamounia in Marrakech.

Other extraordinary experiences to meet at ILTM Americas include Africa’s Wilderness Safaris, The Galapagos Islands’ eco-resort Pikaia Lodge and a heli-fishing eco-adventure cruise in the Chilean Patagonia - Nomads of the Seas.

Simon Mayle, ILTM Head of Marketing and Buyer Programmes commented: “Riviera Maya is all about luxury travel today - the perfect host for ILTM Americas. Very few destinations offer such an overwhelming ‘sense of place’ and the resort is one of a kind, nestled amongst jungle mangroves and lagoons and at one with the natural environment.”

With the Mexican economy growing at its fastest pace in the first quarter of 2012 for more than a year, the Mexico and Riviera Maya Tourism Boards are working closely with ILTM to ensure the destination sets the scene for business success. Celebrations will take place throughout ILTM Americas at destinations including the majestic archaeological park of Xcaret, the authentic Mexican Orient-Express’ Maroma Resort and Spa and the celebrated Fairmont Mayakoba.

Mr Mayle concluded: “With the first ILTM Americas selling out at such an early stage, this is the perfect environment to create new levels of innovation, style and creative travel solutions. It is clear that introducing ILTM inspiration to the Americas’ most productive buyers within a truly authentic, luxury resort in one of the world’s fastest growing economies is perfect for all involved in serious luxury travel business.”
