The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority is delighted to announce the launch of a new luxury property, Sugar Ridge Antigua. Due to open in the first week of November, Sugar Ridge is a uniquely designed, contemporary four star resort, situated on the west coast of the island.

Each of the sixty hillside rooms offer spectacular views of the azure Caribbean Sea and the neighbouring islands of Redonda, St Kitts and Nevis. Rooms are furnished in a modern, contemporary style, yet retain the elegance of the Caribbean and its colonial influences. The muslin draped four poster beds are the centre piece of each room, complimented by state-of-the-art amenities including a flat screen TV, iPod dock, electronic safe with a sound frequency key card and mini fridge. The large verandah includes a day bed whilst the ground floor rooms feature their own plunge pool. The hotel’s concierge services ensure convenient access to each room to and from reception as well as all other facilities within the resort.

Sugar Ridge has two restaurants; Carmichael’s, an al fresco fine dining restaurant, has been designed to ensure guests can fully appreciate the stunning views and breathtaking sunset from its hill top location. Sugar Club, the main hotel restaurant is located in the heart of the resort overlooking the main swimming pool. Both restaurants serve international cuisine with strong Caribbean influences. The resort has two fresh water pools, one with infinity edge, and the other with a lap pool.

The 6000 sq ft Aveda Concept Spa provides guests with an extensive range of facilities including treatment and relaxation rooms, holistic and massage therapies as well a beauty treatments such as manicures and pedicures, a full air conditioned gym, aerobics and yoga studio, and shaded chill out area with lap pool.

Beach facilities are accessed by hotel shuttle, which is just a three minute drive. A marina and 18-hole golf course is just minutes away.
