Spain NTO embraces innovation and technology to launch MICE Community in US Market, the professional and social network for meeting and event planners worldwide, and the Tourist Office of Spain (TOS) in Chicago announced a strategic partnership aimed at improving information, communication and connectivity to meeting planning professionals worldwide. TOS selected i-Meet’s global technology platform to create a collaborative community for its clients, prospects, partners and suppliers and has created a community called Spain Meetings & Events Community@i-Meet.

“As one of the most popular event destinations in the world, Spain is ready to engage meeting planners more proactively,” said Jorge Rubio Navarro, Director of TOS in Chicago. “As more and more planners collaborate online through social media, we want to be as responsive and helpful as possible to those thinking about holding their meetings or incentives in Spain. We want to reach the right people, and i-Meet’s global community of 70,0000 MICE professionals is the perfect place for this initiative.”

The partnership will feature a unique community for those interested in Spain, a place where meeting planners can find reliable and fresh information on the destination, its event venues and alternatives, and its supplier base. Planners can also access ratings, recommendations and a rich database of suppliers to help get to the right information quickly. Special offers and incentives will be a vital part of the collaboration.

Additionally, i-Meet will work with the TOS - Chicago on an outreach campaign to generate increasing awareness on the advantages of Spain as a future site for meetings, incentives and events.
