Soloff handed marketing role at Six Senses New York ahead of 2020 opening

Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas has announced the appointment of Rebecca Soloff as director of sales and marketing at Six Senses New York.

The location will become the group’s first North American property and is currently under development.

Soloff joins Six Senses following a posting as director of sales and marketing at the Mark Hotel, New York.

She has over 17 years of experience in sales and marketing, working at the New York Palace Hotel and the Lowell Hotel, New York.

Soloff graduated with a bachelor of arts degree, majoring in communications from the State University of New York at Albany.

In her free-time she enjoys a range of activities, many of which align with the Six Senses attitude to health and well-being.

Having practiced yoga for 15 years, she has undertaken an intensive one-month course of Ayurveda and yoga in India.

A born and bred New Yorker, Soloff loves dining out in the city, and is an intrepid traveller who is inspired by nature and unique experiences, making her a perfect fit for this new role with Six Senses New York.

Six Senses New York is a key element of The XI - two unique, twisting towers designed by world-renowned architect Bjarke Ingels.

With 137 guestrooms and suites it enjoys an unparalleled location in the heart of the city’s vibrant Chelsea neighbourhood, between Manhattan’s Hudson River and the High Line.

Six Senses New York is slated to open in early 2020.
