Salvador appointed at Worldhotels

Worldhotels has appointed Paulo Salvador as its new vice president of global marketing & sales and vice president for EMEA hotels.

Salvador is Brazilian with extensive international experience in hospitality marketing and sales, having spent eleven years with the French company Accor Hotels, first as head of marketing & ales for Latin America region and then as global senior vice president for e-commerce, loyalty and travel alliances.

Among his achievements with Accor were the conception and launch of its AIClub global loyalty programme, the revamping of the company’s e-commerce strategy and support for the strong portfolio hotel growth in South America.

Paulo Salvador, 45, is a former fellow at Kellog Management School in Chicago, USA with a master’s degree in corporate sociology at SciencesPo Paris.

At Worldhotels Salvador will oversee all operations within the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) region, as well as assuming global responsibility for the group’s marketing, sales and distribution activities. 

After living in Paris for more than five years, he will be based at Worldhotels’ head office in Frankfurt, joining the company’s executive committee.
