Sail into the movies with Royal Caribbean International

Combine all action activities such as rock climbing and first class entertainment at sea with blockbuster themed attractions all in one holiday with the Royal Caribbean International and Universal Orlando package. There are now even more chances to experience this exclusive package with the addition of Jewel of the Seas, which is now sailing from its new seasonal homeport, just a short journey from Orlando, in Tampa, Florida.

The package consists of a Royal Caribbean International cruise with a land stay at Universal Orlando Resort including entry to both Universal’s two theme parks - Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, spectacularly themed on-site hotels and a nighttime entertainment complex. Guests choosing to stay at one of Universal Orlando’s three on-site hotels will also enjoy free Universal Express ride access to skip the regular lines on participating attractions at both theme parks, along with Early Park Admission to select attractions at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.

“Royal Caribbean International’s successful relationship with Universal Orlando Resort continues to create special packages for guests seeking a unique and memorable experience and combines the best of land and sea to deliver an exciting family holiday,” said Betsy O’Rourke, senior vice president of Marketing, Royal Caribbean International. “With Jewel of the Seas sailing from her new seasonal homeport of Tampa, Royal Caribbean is offering even more options to enjoy Universal Orlando’s thrilling attractions and three of the world’s most innovative cruise ships.”

The land and sea packages combine a three- or four-night stay at Universal Orlando with a three- or four-night Bahamas cruise aboard Royal Caribbean International’s Monarch of the Seas, a four- or five-night Western Caribbean cruise aboard Jewel of the Seas, or a seven-night Eastern or Western Caribbean cruise aboard Freedom of the Seas. The package includes hotel and onboard accommodation, multi-day passes to Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure, complimentary admission to select live entertainment venues at Universal CityWalk and ground transfers between airport, hotel, theme parks and the ship at port.

Onboard Jewel of the Seas, guests will enjoy a multitude of family-friendly activities including West End style musicals and entertainment, an onboard rock climbing wall, full-size basketball and volleyball courts, a miniature golf course and mother and daughter/father and son spa facilities.

At Universal Studios Florida, guests can jump into the action of the movies with award-winning attractions based on some of pop culture’s best-known movies and TV shows such as The Simpsons Ride, Shrek 4-D, Revenge of the Mummy and Men in Black.  Next door, Universal’s Islands of Adventure features some of the most innovative and cutting-edge rides and attractions on seven spectacularly themed islands: Marvel Super Hero Island, Toon Lagoon, Jurassic Park, The Lost Continent, Seuss Landing, Port of Entry and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
