Ryanair announces first Corfu route

Ryanair, the world’s favourite airline, today announced its first routes from the Greek island of Corfu to London (Stansted) from June 2011 which will deliver 30,000 passengers p.a. and create up to 30 local jobs in Corfu.

Ryanair celebrated its first Corfu route by launching a 1 million £7 seat sale for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in May which are available for booking from midnight tonight until midnight Monday (11th Apr). Ryanair’s Corfu routes go on sale on www.ryanair.com tomorrow.

Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said:

“Ryanair is delighted to boost Greek tourism with the introduction of our first routes from the Greek island of Corfu to London (Stansted) which will provide British and Greek consumers/visitors with even more low fares on this exciting route this summer, which will deliver 30,000 passengers p.a. and create up to 30 local jobs.

“To celebrate this new route Ryanair is launching 1million £7 seats, for travel across Europe in May, which are available for booking until midnight Thursday. Since seats at these crazy low prices will be snapped up quickly, we urge passengers to book them immediately on www.ryanair.com.”
