Ryanair announces 5 new Cork winter routes

Ryanair, today announced 5 new routes from Cork to Gdansk, Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw and Vilnius (at fares that are at least 50% cheaper than Wizz) from Nov 2012 as Ryanair grows its winter 2012 schedule from Cork Airport to 2 based aircraft and 10 routes, which will deliver over 850,000 passengers p.a., sustaining over 800* “on site” jobs at Cork Airport.

Ryanair’s 5 new winter routes from Cork go on sale on www.ryanair.com tomorrow at fares from just €6.99 – which is 50% cheaper than Wizz’s lowest fares. Ryanair celebrated its 5 new Cork routes by launching 100,000 seats from €15 for travel across Europe on Tues, Wed and Thur in September and October, which are available for booking until midnight Mon (6 Aug).

In Cork, Ryanair’s Michael Cawley, said:

“Ryanair is pleased to announce 5 new Cork to Gdansk, Krakow, Warsaw, Wroclaw and Vilnius, which will start in Nov 2012, at fares from just €6.99 – which is more than 50% cheaper than Wizz’s lowest fares. Our Cork winter 2012 schedule now grows to 2 based aircraft and 10 routes which will deliver over 850,000 passengers p.a. at Cork Airport, sustaining over 800 “on-site” jobs.
