Rotana returns to sponsor World Travel Market registration

Rotana has confirmed it is to sponsor registration at World Travel Market 2013, the leading global event for the travel industry.

The event will take place in London from November 4th-7th 2013.

It is the fifth year in a row the hotel operator has sponsored WTM’s registration as part of its ongoing strategy to promote the brand to the global travel and tourism industry.

The hotel group is especially looking to promote its Egyptian properties and its upcoming opening in Salalah, Oman.

Rotana’s four resorts in Egypt, the five-star Grand Rotana Resort & Spa – Sharm El Sheikh and the four-star Coral Beach Rotana Resorts in Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada are all far enough away from the recent unrest in the country to be completely unaffected and have continued to operate successfully.

“We are working very hard to bring Sharm El Sheikh back to its glory days as a leading tourist destination within the region.

“The UK is one of our prime markets and we are placing a lot of emphasis on developing this market further and this is why we will be exhibiting amongst a large number of international and high profile companies,” said Azmi Sami, general manager, Grand Rotana Resort & Spa, Sharm El Sheikh.

The five-star Grand Rotana Resort & Spa, which sets the pace for Rotana’s presence in Egypt, is located on the beautiful shores of Sharm El Sheikh.

It boasts a 450 metre private beach, a stunning 3,600 square lagoon style pool, 526 rooms with choices of beach front, suites or private villas with their own private pools.

This magnificent property offers a variety of exceptional international outlets and bars including Asian and Italian cuisine and a breath taking beach outlet overlooking the Red Sea.

The resort also hosts Zen the Spa at Rotana, with nine treatment rooms overlooking sea view and a team of professional Thai therapists, as well as a wide variety of recreational and family orientated facilities.

The three additional four-star properties include the Coral Beach Rotana Resort – Tiran, Coral Beach Rotana Resort – Montazah and the Coral Beach Rotana Resort in Hurghada offer generous landscaping and unique locations on the Red Sea.

The three resorts offer a wide range of facilities such as advanced water activities, international outlets and bars, fitness centres, privacy and excellent value for money.

Reed Travel Exhibitions director World Travel Market Simon Press said: “Having developed such a strong working relationship with Rotana, I am delighted that they are sponsoring the registration process for the fifth year in a row.”
