The Rezidor Hotel Group has announced a new mid-market hotel in Tunisia – Park Inn Hammamet.

Under the plans, the existing Hotel Riu Park El Kebir will be re-branded and open in the second quarter of 2012 following a full renovation.

It will be Rezidor’s third hotel in the country – the group is already operating the Park Inn Ulysse Resort & Thalasso and the award winning Radisson Blu Resort & Thalasso in Djerba.

Hammamet is located on the Mediterranean coast, just 60 kilometres away from the capital city, Tunis.

Tunisia is one of the top destinations along the North African Mediterranean coast.

Park Inn by Radisson is Rezidor’s young and dynamic mid market brand.
