reclaim brings its pioneering Luggage Delivery Service to Miami’s Major Airports
reclaim, a start-up that offers transportation, logistics, supply chain and storage solutions, is expanding its business to Miami and its greater metropolitan area.
From late February, reclaim will gradually launch its luggage delivery service for passengers flying from both Miami International (MIA) and Broward County’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International (FLL) airports. First, it will offer its carry-on luggage delivery from door to the pre-security airport lobby. In spring, it will add its Remote Luggage Check-in to its portfolio. With these services, reclaim is filling a gap in the market as it makes flying easier and hassle-free for both leisure and business passengers travelling through two of the most important gateways.
More than 90 airlines operate from Miami International Airport, the second busiest US gateway for international passengers and the first one for flights to Latin America and the Caribbean. In
2025, it welcomed more than 55.3 million passengers. Broward County’s Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International airport serves 25 air carriers, more than 135 destinations and 35 million passengers every year.
“After launching our luggage delivery service in Atlanta, the first ever in North America, back in January, we are ready to revolutionize baggage handling in Miami’s metropolitan area” – says Akmann Van-Mary, CEO and Founder of reclaim. “Greater Miami hosts many visitors every year: from business travelers and tourists attracted by its beaches, malls and vibrant cultural life to cruise passengers, concertgoers and sport fans. We are now ready to make travel easier, lighter, and stress free for them, while helping airports, airlines and accommodation providers to enhance the experience for their customers and benefit from additional ancillary revenue”.

How it works
Travelers can book the luggage delivery service on helloreclaim.com. A reclaim team will arrive at the given address to pick up the luggage six hours prior to departure. The operators will validate the customer’s identification at time of handover and match it with an active flight boarding pass. Each of the bags will be sealed with tamper-proof tracking tags that allow travelers to monitor the entire process through reclaim’s mobile app, via SMS or e-mail updates at every stage in real-time.
reclaim has partnered with SITA to develop an innovative mobile solution to roll out its service in a way that fits with existing airport systems. The luggage delivery service is TSA-compliant and includes basic insurance for each of the pieces. Additionally, travelers can book enhanced protection insurance online.
Future expansion
First launched at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, reclaim’s business model is designed to grow, not only by adding new services and partners to its portfolio but also by expanding its network to other cities across the U.S. and Canada. The startup is currently working on integration projects with the TSA across the continent. Hotels, credit cards, loyalty programs, and airlines are among other potential associates in its pipeline.
reclaim’s service will also help to manage the large amount of luggage of athletes and guests during the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Olympic Games in the United States. Likewise, it solves baggage handling issues at big conferences or events.
