Petit-Jean takes up UK leadership role with Monaco Tourist Authority

Former Starwood global account manager, Rebecca Petit-Jean, has been appointed by Monaco Tourist Authority as the new regional sales manager for the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia.

With over 15 years’ experience working with leading luxury hotels she will report to Stephan Degueurce-Roberge, managing director of Monaco Tourist Authority.

Petit-Jean will focus her efforts in promoting Monaco as the leading luxury destination in the world.

Degueurce-Roberge said: “Rebecca brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to her new role.

“I am absolutely delighted she has joined my sales team.

“As the new ‘Miss Monaco’ she is a great addition to the London sales office.

“Taking a lead role in educating agents and potential clients that the Principality of Monaco is better value than many other European destinations.”

Petit-Jean will concentrate on the MICE market and will establish and strengthen existing and new client relationships.

As an extension of the Monaco Convention Bureau, the Monaco Tourist Authority has ambitious targets to increase the leisure and MICE market by 15 per cent; Petit-Jean will be a key asset in this process.

She added: “It’s an honour to work with one of the world’s renowned luxury destinations.

“Given my background I have a thorough understanding of what drives luxury tourism and keen to apply this expertise to bring new opportunities to Monaco in the European market.”

Petit-Jean has decades of experience working with leading luxury hotels such as Hotels Arts Barcelona and the W Barcelona.

She has also led a successful career as group sales global account manager for the UK, Ireland & Scandinavia for the Starwood Global Sales office in London.
