Pepperclub Hotel defends top World Travel Awards title

Nick Seewer, chief executive of Pepperclub Hotel & Spa, celebrates with the World Travel Awards trophies

Pepperclub Hotel & Spa in Cape Town has been named Africa’s Leading City Hotel for the third consecutive year in the 2015 World Travel Awards.

The title is the ultimate travel accolade and recognises and rewards excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry.

Situated in the heart of the vibrant Mother City, the five star 210 suite hotel lends itself to both leisure and business travellers due to its close proximity to the business district and tourist destinations, all a few minutes’ away.

Pepperclub Hotel & Spa’s grand Penthouse was also recognised by the awards platform this year, being named South Africa’s Leading Hotel Suite.

Located on the 20th floor and spanning across the top two floors of the hotel, the luxurious Penthouse Suite offers three en-suite bedrooms, a spacious lounge with floor to ceiling windows, a dining room and open plan kitchen, all enhanced by a wraparound balcony with views of Table Mountain, Signal Hill, the City and Table Bay.

The rooftop and upper level of the Penthouse Suite comprises of a private swimming pool, sundeck and terrace.

Now in its 22nd year, all titles are awarded based on votes from travellers and industry professionals.

Nick Seewer, chief executive of Pepperclub Hotel & Spa, said the staff and management at the hotel are thrilled that the hotel continues to be recognised as Africa’s Leading City Hotel as it reinforces their commitment to deliver the best to all guests visiting the hotel.

“We are hopeful that our efforts over the past three years will secure us the title of the World’s Leading City Hotel in the global awards ceremony taking place later this year.”

He added that the new title of South Africa’s Leading Hotel Suite is truly fitting for the Pepperclub’s Penthouse Suite.

“Affectionately known as the Penthouse in the Sky, the suite towers over the City and allows guests to soak up the energy and views from the many vantage points offered by the Suite,” concluded Seewer.
