The snow has finally arrived in Tignes, which is perfect timing ahead of the launch of the new ski season 9 days before the official opening! And more good news, further snowfall is expected next week ensuring even better conditions for the opening of the ski area.

A great programme has been put together for the opening weekend, for skiers to be at the heart of the action, navigate the first descents of the season and experience the festive atmosphere in Tignes.

Saturday, 23 November

1st day: opening of the Tignes ski lifts including the Grande Motte glacier

Morning: Free distribution of hot drinks and the first ski sessions
17.00 - 18.30:  A magic workshop for the youngsters (from 8 years old)
18.30 – 19.00: Opening speech and screening of the resorts promotional film
19.00 – 20.00: A magical show – a family show combining magic, memory and humour
20.00 – 22.00: Cover concert by ‘Les Lunettes’
22.00 – 00.30: DJ Set by Fred Metral.

Sunday, 24 November

Another day of skiing in the Tignes area.
The Yeti Race: a race trail and obstacle course on snow.

Opening offer: The lift pass during the opening weekend is € 30 per day. A stay in Tignes starts at €120 per person, accommodation in a hotel or apartment, with a Tignes lift pass included for Saturday and Sunday.
